Kevin Mangum brings an international perspective to projects, with over 20 years of experience in various fields, including construction, development, finance, and imported finishes. He grew up in the construction distribution industry, with his family business, Mangum Design-Build, representing the fourth generation of small business ownership. Kevin became an advisor for the Bambu Fund LLC in 2025.

Since forming Bison Development, Kevin has helped create a diverse, multifaceted design-build firm focused on delivering a new benchmark in service for clients and investors. The firm vertically integrates architectural design, planning, import logistics, project management, and sales into one team. This centralized approach to development allows for the highest efficiency level and curates the most sophisticated finishes for each project. Over time, Kevin has helped develop an extensive logistics network of suppliers from Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Asia, India, and Australia, achieving fluency in multiple languages. Utilizing this exclusive supplier network facilitates the delivery of unique and sophisticated projects to clients.

Kevin is an alum of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a former diver on the 1998 ACC Swimming and Diving championship team. He was born in Raleigh, NC, USA, and raised in a cross-cultural environment with family in and around Munich, Germany.
