Re’Shane L. Lonzo is an entrepreneur, workforce development leader, and community-focused real estate developer whose work centers on strengthening communities through healthcare workforce training, education, and equitable development. She is the founder and chief executive officer of DRM International Learning Center, a state licensed healthcare training institution based in Michigan that prepares individuals for careers in healthcare and allied professions. Under her leadership, DRM has trained thousands of students and developed partnerships with hospitals, assisted living communities, and long-term care providers to address critical workforce shortages, particularly in elder care, dementia support, and patient care services.
Re’Shane has served as a consultant for Bambu Fund LLC since 2017, became a Bambu Fund advisor in 2019, and a senior advisor in 2021. Her expertise in healthcare workforce development, aging population needs, and community-based care systems provides valuable insight as Bambu explores healthcare, wellness, and senior living initiatives across international markets.
With more than 24 years of experience in healthcare education and workforce development, Mrs. Lonzo has designed programs that help individuals enter and advance in the healthcare profession while supporting the staffing needs of medical providers and care facilities. DRM’s programs include certified nursing assistant (CNA), dementia and Alzheimer’s care training, patient care technician (PCT), medical assistant training, and other healthcare certification programs that strengthen workforce readiness across the care continuum.
In addition to her work in healthcare education, Re’Shane is actively involved in community redevelopment through Lonzo Development Group, where she leads mixed-use revitalization initiatives focused on affordable housing and workforce development. Her flagship project, The Iris, is a mixed-use redevelopment in Lansing, Michigan that integrates affordable housing, workforce training, childcare services, and community gathering spaces within a historic redevelopment site. The project represents a multi-million-dollar investment in neighborhood revitalization and reflects her commitment to community-centered development and long-term economic impact.
Re’Shane’s entrepreneurial portfolio also includes The Comfort Zone Cigar Lounge & Bistro in East Lansing, Michigan, a hospitality venue she co-founded that combines premium cigar culture, dining, and curated community experiences.
As part of a growing cohort of emerging developers focused on equitable development and community-centered investment strategies, Re’Shane has been actively engaged in regional and national initiatives supporting minority and emerging developers entering the commercial real estate industry.
Prior to founding DRM International Learning Center, Re’Shane served as an educational specialist and instructor with Lansing Community College and the Lansing School District. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Northwood University’s Richard DeVos Graduate School of Management and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University.
